MaverX e Reglass presentano il nuovo albero slalom SDM (english version follows):
“NASCE ELEMENTO, il nuovo albero Slalom MaverX by Reglass
Elemento è il nuovo albero MaverX completamente riprogettato, per vele Slalom con o senza camber. La sua genesi parte dalla necessità di concepire un albero che per natura deve essere molto performante, sottostare a carichi enormi, essere leggero e adeguarsi al meglio al profilo della vela. Abbiamo utilizzato quindi la nostra esperienza di costruttori di alberi utilizzando per la prima volta l’analisi FEM (analisi degli elementi finiti da cui il nome scelto), per stabilire “teoricamente” quale profilo, quale stampo, quale materiale, dovessero essere usati per avere il minor stress nelle zone più critiche.
Una rivoluzione in termini di profilo, materiali usati, spessori e distribuzione delle forze che ci ha permesso di mettere a punto un albero che risponde esattamente a quanto ricercato.
Alla fase di test teorico abbiamo fatto seguire una produzione prototipica che è stata provata su varie vele con risultati eccellenti. Lo stesso metodo di lavoro (analisi FEM + test), lo applichiamo oggi a tutti i nostri prodotti, elevando quindi una costruzione nel mondo del windsurf storicamente piuttosto artigianale, a qualcosa di decisamente più preciso e tecnologicamente avanzato come avviene nei settori industriali di cui si occupa Reglass.
Le curve dei nostri alberi sono constant. Siamo rimasti fermi negli ultimi anni a questo concetto avendo capito fra i primi come costruttori di alberi che è il profilo che meno stressa l’albero e a cui ormai tutti i costruttori di vele fanno riferimento. La compatibilità quindi di Elemento su vele slalom di varie marche è assicurata.
Elemento è costruito in due versioni 100% carbonio e 70% carbonio. La differenza è solo la percentuale di fibra di vetro presente al 30% nel modello 70.
MaverX è un marchio Reglass, azienda leader nella produzione di tubi in carbonio per applicazioni industriali e sportive. Ogni singolo particolare è fieramente prodotto in Italia presso la sede di Minerbio, Bologna.

MaverX and Reglass present the new SDM slalom mast (English version):
“ELEMENTO , the new MAVERX slalom mast made by Reglass.
ELEMENTO is the new fully redesigned mast for cambered and non cambered slalom sails. It has been conceived with the target to mix “clashing goals” such as high performance, light weight, durability, and great adaptation to all slalom sail profiles. We have combined our mast manufacturer most extensive background using for the first time the FEA analysis ( finite ELEMENT analysis allows hundreds of designs to be tested virtually before a single physical prototype hits the water from where we have named the mast) , to get the theoretical best profile , best mold, best material displacement and control the most stressed zones such as the boom area.
A real revolution in terms of shape, material used, thickness, stress distribution along the surface that brought us to this mast that combines all above targets.
We followed the theoretical phase with a very active on water tests on many available sails receiving excellent results. We apply the same path now ( FEA + tests) on all our products , escalating the windsurfing gear production to a superior level such as those Reglass has to comply for the industry standards .
Our masts are constant curves since now almost all sail manufacturers make their sails around these type of masts. The compatibility of ELEMENTO with other modern sails is then guarantee.
ELEMENTO is available in 2 flavors: 70% and 100% carbon content being the difference made by the fiberglass content only . All the rest is equal.
